Jennifer Lee Gutierrez
Education: Master's of Science. in Adult Literacy, Global TESOL Certificate
Jennifer Lee Gutierrez has over 15 years of experience teaching English. Her love for it began from an early age and it unfolded when she was offered her first opportunity to teach adults in 2005 in the state of Virginia. A couple of years ahead and a hop and skip down to Georgia, she was granted the chance to instruct at a couple of colleges (Gwinnett College and Interactive College of Technology). As 2012 kicked off, Jennifer landed an opportunity of a lifetime to continue teaching in the Land of the Rising Sun; Japan, where she spent the next 4 years. Her undergraduate degree is in Communications with a focus on television production. Aside from her concentration in Adult Education, Jennifer has also given English lessons to K-12 students. Her courses are centered on English writing composition, essay writing, public speaking, communicative grammar, accent reduction, pronunciation and articulation. In her spare time, Jennifer loves sewing, writing, watching movies, cooking and baking, kayaking, hiking and taking long walks. She has lived in 4 countries outside of her hometown in New York City; Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Quebec, Canada and Japan. Now, Jennifer is interested in saving up to buy her own home in Georgia.
